Transportation Policy Meetings In The State Capitol

Today Council Member Chun joined the League of California Cities Transportation Policy Committee in Sacramento to discuss important issues facing the state's infrastructure. Our City of Aliso Viejo, like every other city in the state will face a growing deficit in maintenance and repair funding, as revenues from the gas tax continue to decline. 

State level policy meetings give us an opportunity to present the concerns of our community, and today, Council Member Chun had an opportunity to again raise these issues with Senator Jim Beall, Chairman of the Committee on Transportation and Housing. Friday Ross will join the Housing Policy Committee to discuss the issues around short-term leasing, including Air B&B and Sober Living Facilities.
